Spay/Neuter
Since 2003, ENAH has had an ongoing spay/neuter project. Through generous donations and grants, we have provided the funding for over 900 animals (mostly cats) to be spayed/neutered.
ENAH works with several veterinary clinics and organizations through its spay/neuter programs. If you need financial assistance to get your pets spayed or neutered, please send us email.
OUTDOOR CAT MONTHS– Spay/Neuter assistance is offered for outside cats from March 1st – October 31st ONLY. During the winter months we do not provide funding for spay/neuter surgeries for outdoor cats because of the cold weather. After anesthesia, the cat cannot regulate its body temperature for a period of time, so it cannot be put outside in the cold weather immediately. The only exception to this would be if you can lock the cats in a heated building for at the following periods of time: 3 days for males; 3 weeks for females. For more information on our outdoor cat spay/neuter policies, please send us email.
