ENAH, Inc.

EveryoneNeedsAHome, a 501(c)3 animal welfare organization

ENAH, Inc., founded in 2003, is an all-volunteer,501(c)3 animal welfare organization located in the Wisconsin counties of Green and Lafayette.  Our two main projects are our Pet Food Pantry and Spay/Neuter Project (more information on each below).  We are not an animal shelter.

Latest News:  ENAH received a 2016 Grant from the Monroe Fund for our Pet Food Pantry.  EveryoneNeedsAHome announces that it has received a 2016 grant from the Monroe Fund, a component of the Community Foundation of Southern Wisconsin, Inc. to support the ENAH Pet Food Pantry.  Read press release here: ENAH Receives 5th grant from Monroe Fund.

Pet Food Pantry Information:  It is located in Monroe, WI, and serves Green and Lafayette County residents who are in need of food assistance for their companion animals.  The pet pantry is open the 3rd Thursday of each month.  The pet pantry serves approximately 80 families each month, and has over 240 individual families signed up for its services.  The pantry distributes about 1,400 lbs of food each month, and has a phone number for emergencies outside normal hours of operation.  It has been in operation since February 2011.  We are always looking for sponsors and donors of both food and money.  The need for this pet food pantry has grown far beyond what we initially thought, and we have twice had to reduce the amount of food allowed for each family.  If you would like to sponsor or donate food or money, we’d love to hear from you!  For more information, please read here:  Pet Food Pantry

Spay/Neuter InformationWe have run a spay/neuter project since 2003, dedicated to the spaying and neutering of cats and dogs in the Lafayette and Green Counties of Wisconsin.  This project completely depends on the number and amount of donations we receive for this project.  At times, the project has been put on hold.  However, to date, through generous donations and grants, over  1,200 animals have been spayed or neutered for area residents, and we are hoping to hold at least 2 spay/neuter days in 2017. (Statistics).

  • 2017 Update:  We have recently received donations to hold a couple spay/neuter days.  If you live in either Lafayette or Green County, WI, and need financial assistance in spaying or neutering your cat(s), please send us an email.  ENAH has been running an ongoing spay/neuter project, apart from the large-scale spay/neuter day mentioned above, since 2003.  We have been very low on funds for the past couple of years, but 2017 sees us ramping up this project again!

Hear our song: “He Waits All Day For Freedom (Spike’s Song)” written by Peggy Miller Sheffer and performed by Peggy and Don Markese.

No donations to ENAH were used in producing this song; all costs were funded privately, and all profits will go directly towards our animal welfare projects.  If you’d like to read the true story behind the song and other information, please click here.  It is available for download at CDBaby.com:
