Located in Lafayette County, WI, and founded in 2003, ENAH, Inc., is an all-volunteer,501(c)3 animal welfare organization
dedicated to the spaying and neutering of cats and dogs in the Lafayette and Green Counties of Wisconsin. To date, through generous donations and grants, over 1,000 animals have been spayed or neutered for area residents. (Statistics).
Spay/Neuter Information:
- Our 9th GCHS & ENAH Spay/Neuter Day will be held on Friday, October 7th. Residents of both Green and Lafayette counties are eligible. Spots are expected to fill up fast. There is a limit of two cats per household. Cats must be in good health, free of respiratory illness, and tame enough to be handled. They must be transported in a pet carrier. Cats living in outdoor homes are eligible. Monroe Auto Sales, 101 W. Eighth St., is donating use of its facility for the free Spay/Neuter Day. To register, please call (608) 543-3637 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
- Since October 2009, ENAH has been partnering with the Green County Humane Society to hold large-scale spay/neuter days in Monroe, where 30 cats are altered in one day.
- ENAH has been running an ongoing spay/neuter project since 2003. If you live in either Lafayette or Green County, WI, and need financial assistance in spaying or neutering your cat(s) or dog(s), please send us an email.
